I traveled the weekend of October 28 – 30 to visit Marc Emery in the "Medium Security" prison he's being held at in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Marc gets out in July 2014 with his good time credit.

Today is November 1, 980 days to go till my release on July 9, 2014. There are two possible hopeful scenarios that could shorten that wait. One is the petition to "Pardon Marc Emery" which appears at www.WhiteHouse.gov in the "We The People" section. On September 22, that petition initiative website was launched and any petition that obtained 5,000 signatures within 30 days was promised a response from the White House.

It's recently come to my attention that certain factions of the legalization movement are boycotting THC-related events that allow synthetic "marijuana-substitutes" to display their wares, or have scantily clad "nurses" representing businesses purporting to be medical in nature. This is ridiculous and goes against every tenet of anti-prohibitionism I hold dear.

Steve Jobs died this week after fighting a long battle with cancer. The technological visionary who founded Apple and brought us the personal computer and the iPod was called a hippy by his close friends, and reportedly said taking LSD was "one of the two or three most important things I have done in my life".

The last election special I’ll be hosting for sometime is taking place today (Thursday, Oct. 6) at Vapor Central. The Mernahuana Show is doing a Thursday night crossover with regularly scheduled Third Klass Comedy. It’s going to be interesting because comedians will add the necessary vibe that is actually found inside Queens Park. They’ll provide antics. I’ll provide the politics.

Enthusiasts are constantly seeking out strains to sample. Like other types of researchers they too use Google or other search engines to seek out information on a specific strain.

Hi Miss! This Sunday, October 2nd (in the evening, after your visit), I will perform three Bob Marley songs in concert with the reggae band: "No Woman, No Cry", "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Stir It Up". I continue to practice, learn and rehearse on the bass guitar in my own band, called "Yazoo", for 2-4 hours each day.
