A message from Philippe Lucas of the Vancouver Island Compassion Society with news about the constitutional challenge
Dear friends and colleagues: I'd like to take a few minutes to thank and recognize some of the recent donors to the VICS constitutional challenge of Health Canada's medical cannabis program: Prof. Doug Hutchinson, the Toronto Compassion Center, Maxim and the members of the Club Compassion de Montreal, the Marijuana Policy Project, the Drug Policy Alliance, and Robert Field and Common Sense for Drug Policy. This compassion club's constitutional challenge has an incredible amount of potential, and with more support through financial contributions, it can continue onward and triumph in the courts!

Next month, Senator Pierre-Claude Nolin will be closing his testimony by being cross-examined by the Crown. If you're in Vancouver and would like to attend, he is scheduled to appear from the 28th of April until the 2nd of May, and the case is open to the public. This will be followed later in May by the Crown's witnesses, which look likely to be Dr. Harold Kalant, Valerie Lasher, and Dr. Richard Viau. I'll post details as soon as we know more; please come out to support the VICS!
