Mass Executions in China
The People's Republic of China celebrated the June 28 UN
International Day Against Drugs by executing 231 people found
guilty of drug trafficking. There were over 1000 executions for drug
trafficking in China between April and August, as part of the government's
vicious Operation Strong Fist. The program is expected to continue.
