Two undercover agents went to the hydroponics store of Pascal-Fr?d?rick Desbiens, 28, and ordered a 200-plant table. Desbiens delivered cuttings for propagation later.
A search of Desbiens' residence revealed a 132-plant operation. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce, trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of marijuana, and three counts of possession of proceeds of crime.
Desbiens had a criminal record dating from 1992 for trafficking and production of marijuana. He committed these offences while serving a conditional sentence. He was given a sentence of 36 months' imprisonment, two years' probation and a firearms prohibition.![]()
