The Dutch have the advantage of many well known hybrids and lots of Sativas, and the resulting product is stunning.

A heavy door leads to a crawlspace that opens to the room. The room has electricity and is big enough to grow a fair bit of reefer.
California med-pot in court

Prohibition hangs by a thread in Canada, as at least four constitutional challenges to pot laws are currently being heard in courts across the land. In the US, battles continue between the states and the federal government for the fate of medical pot. The reverberations are felt as far away as the Vatican, where Pope John Paul II recently rejected legalization, issuing a declaration late in 2001, calling the marijuana and drug economy "death trafficking." For cannabis users, it is a slap in the face.

In the US, battles continue between the states and the federal government for the fate of medical pot.
The height of the 400 watt lamp from the top of the plant canopy depends on the light and how it is used. Lamps with air-cooled reflectors can get closer to the canopy than reflectors without a heat barrier. Moving lights can be placed closer than stationary ones.

Moldy buds

I hung the plants for two weeks and cured the buds in large canning jars after that.
I was inspecting the buds today and noticed that the tips of the crystals have little balls on them. Some buds have a translucent fuzz growing on them Is this mold as I suspect? Or perhaps just a very advanced stage of ripening?

Perlite alone?

Can perlite be used by itself in a passive hydroponic system?
Jim Dean,
Internet

No, because perlite does not exhibit capillary action. Since it does not draw water up from a reservoir, it cannot be used alone. However, it can be used as a component of a planting mix containing vermiculite, peat moss, coir, compost or nylon fiber.

Going Crazy,
Internet

No matter how good a gardener you are and how well you grow your plants, the most significant factor determining the potential quality of the product is the genetics of the plant. If you start with low potency plant genetics you will produce low potency bud.
