Bagging the hole

To save water, I placed a garbage bag at the bottom of each hole I dug to add good soil for my plants. I reasoned that the water and nutrients won't simply drain right through the bottom of the holes. He's one of the world's top pot photographers and has delighted Cannabis Culture readers for many years with his shots of delicious buds and his close-ups of trichomes.
His latest compilation, The Cannabible, is a mouth-watering experience. It contains almost 200 pages of beautifully shot buds, interspersed with amazing microphotography of ripe resin glands.

Smokey Jay, a multi-talented comedian, songwriter, video star, and internet wizard, has a prescription for fun.
His new comedy CD, Smokey Jay's 4:20 Marijuana Comedy Hour, will light up a party with pro-pot hilarity. The CD features creative skits, melodies, and politics reminiscent of Cheech and Chong, but updated with a 21st century edge.

They started flowering about four weeks ago and have been doing well until recently; I noticed a bud that looks dead. It was dry and discolored. I found a small caterpillar on another bud. It was camouflaged and looked just like a leaf. Do I have a bug problem? If so, what can I use on the plants to get rid of them?
Internet

The potential of a plant is determined by its genetics. Unlike seeds, clones are virtually exact genetic duplicates of the plants from which they are taken.

Although there is a slight genetic drift over many generations of cloning, this phenomenon occurs very slowly.

The challenge was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union in August 2001, after the Drug Enforcement Agency forced a prominent New Orleans club to ban glow sticks and pacifiers, claiming the items were "drug paraphernalia."

We are struggling to keep the temperature under 90 degrees with fans going continually and an open door during lighted hours. We have an air conditioner in the room but after 30 minutes it just spews out hot air. We've read that cooling the roots may be the answer to our problem. What do you suggest we do?

I am planning to plant some seeds in containers around July 15, to plant in the ground in the middle of August. If I keep them in containers I could control the flowering cycle by shading them daily. Or I could just put them in some fertile soil out in the pasture with tomato cages for support. I don't have any neighbors. Is it worth trying?
My main concern is the long number of hours of daylight in the summer. At the solstice, June 22, there are about 21 hours of light. It decreases at the rate of 5 minutes a day. I was thinking of starting indoors for three weeks under continuous light and then inducing a head start on flowering by changing their light regimen to 12/12 on/off for a week.
