Fleebler speaks now. What a wonderfully one sided article. Glad to see that impartiality is still a key principle in journalism. Now, I am not going to argue that it is a shame that these men are dead. That would be unfair to those who now cannot speak for themselves. However, what I will say is this: they had their chance. How many men of peace, as they were described, fire guns (registered or otherwise) at aircraft passing over their property? Were they not given the chance to surrender? If these men broke no laws, and were men of peace, why, then, did they barricade themselves on their property, weapons out and ready? What had they to hide? Regardless of whether or not laws are fair, such as those that outlaw marijuana possession and cultivation, those laws exist. There are many a channel through which to change said laws-just look at Massachusetts, decriminalizing possession. Outright disobedience and armed confrontation are not viable means in a republic. To any who would object to what I have said here, i ask you simply: think about it, really hard if ya can, for more than a few clear-minded moments (emphasis on clear), and i suggest you reevaluate your stance. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
