Licenses can not be revoked for med-pot recommendations

A federal appeals court in California ruled that the US government can not revoke the licenses of doctors who recommend that their patients use medicinal cannabis. In a unanimous ruling, the three-judge panel said that doctors were simply exercising their right to free speech. The judges added that there were legal ways for patients to seek marijuana, including government-approved research projects, or even attempting to change the cannabis laws.
