UK report shows drugs don't lead to crime

A major study published by Britain's Home Office shows that drug use does not cause criminal behaviour.
The study, released October 18, was led by Mike Hough, director of the Criminal Policy Research Unit at South Bank University. "The commonly held belief that people are dragged into a life of crime [by drug use] is not accurate," explained Hough.

Although about one million people in Britain use illegal drugs, the report claims that 90% of them are not involved in any sort of criminal acts.
