It's good Canada isn't as harsh as america on the weed issue and all but i don't think anybody should ever get any kind of time for marijuana related issues. One of the main reasons is the fact that it's just a plant. How many other plants and flowers are gonna get on the list of illegal items? For some strange reason beer and alcohol is ok but doesn't that come from natural things that grow? Don't people die from using too much of those substances? There's no major differences between someone who sells weed seeds and someone who sells sunflower seeds in the corner store. If people decide they like to roll up a rose and smoke it or make a tea from it will they have to worry about going to jail? If I walk outside and plant a seed to grow an apple tree will I have to worry about going to jail for that one day? There are a lot of things far worse than puttin weed to good use. Many people sniff paint and glue but still anyone can go to the store and get all the paint and glue they want. What's the real cause of the marijuana laws? If a person can go to jail for one type of plant who is to say there won't be laws against all types of other plants? Where does the line get drawn? The world is in a horrible state when a man can get his freedom taken away for no reason other than a plant or an idea. When I think about the marijuana laws I can't help but to think about the book "Fahrenheit 451" where all books were illegal. I start to wonder if there will be a day when all plants are illegal. No one should have the power to decided whether or not something that's natural is allowable. If I can use air and water i should also be allowed to use dirt and seeds. The madness has to stop now or no one anywhere will ever be able to enjoy nature.
