Marc Emery's seed company was raided Friday, July 29, by Canadian agents acting under orders from the DEA.
The raids were a DEA operation; it is the US government that is laying charges against Emery and two co-defendants, who were all arrested.

If there ever is a trial related to these charges, the American drug warriors want it held in America.

Pipe residue

Last week my friends and I scraped the residue out of a heavily-used bong. We salvaged some large chunks and rolled it in our palms into a big ball. It was extremely pliable, sticky, smelly, and it melted when we smoked it. It tasted pretty bad. We placed small amounts in the bowl of the bong and took hits. We smoked quite a bit of it and got very stoned.

Vaporization and condensation

In issue 35 you wrote about vaporization. THC boils at 390 degrees. One popular device uses ice to cool the vapor. Doesn't this condense the vapor and therefore reduce the quantity of THC available to inhale? If this is true, wouldn't I want the vapor as hot as I can comfortably handle it?

Vaporization issue

In issue 35 you wrote about vaporization and that the THC will boil at 350 degrees F. Some versions are powered by heat guns. The tip of the heater fits into a large bong bowl. The bong is filled with ice to cool the vapor. Doesn't the ice condense the vapor and therefore reduce the quantity of THC available for inhalation? If this is true, don't I want the vapor as hot as I can comfortably handle it?

There is no indication that marijuana has any effect on muscle development in either adults or children. No experiments have reported THC affecting major growth patterns.

The best way to keep your stash is to place the dried marijuana in a glass or metal container. Thermal plastic is also suitable. If possible, the package should be vacuum packed. Mason jars make ideal containers. The containers should be placed in a frost-free freezer. The buds will stay fresh indefinitely under these conditions.
