Regular Marijuana Users Suffer Less Impairment Than Occasional Users

It may be time to re-think the way we envision the typical stoner-type personality portrayed in the media. Recent research published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology shows those impacted most by any negative neurocognitive effects of marijuana are actually occasional users, not those who regularly consume marijuana.

The research found there were no rises in cases of schizophrenia or psychoses diagnosed in the UK over nine years, during which the use of the drug had grown substantially.

Pro-cannabis campaigners seized on the results as supporting the legalising of cannabis, and claimed the report had been suppressed.

Dr. Hornby has been collaborating with Advanced Nutrients, and together they have been able to come up with many products designed specifically for growing cannabis. Dr. Hornby has his name on growing products, which you may have seen at your local hydroponics store.

Claire E,
Location Unknown

The difference is not necessarily in the marijuana or the way that it is grown, but in how it is used. Recreational marijuana users are looking for novel states of consciousness that are pleasant and interesting. Connoisseurs seek different highs for different circumstances and to create different moods.

Many tests and $50,000 later, they still couldn't figure out what my problem was. They thought I might have Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, allergies or depression.

Craig,
California

Moldy pot is not fit for consumption. Just as you wouldn't eat moldy food, you shouldn't use moldy marijuana. Molds use chemistry to deal with their environment. Many produce toxins and are dangerous. Salvaging spoiled weed is not worth risking your health. Don't smoke or ingest moldy pot.

The lawsuit takes aim at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Nevada, Oregon and Washington have passed similar laws by ballot initiative, but only Hawaii has previously passed a med-pot law by state vote like Vermont.
